Privacy at PlaylistLength.net

Review the browser-only data boundary before using a calculator.

Abstract playlist timing strips arranged around a clock.

A visible boundary for your timing data

This PlaylistLength.net privacy notice explains the production facts defined for the site at launch. PlaylistLength.net operates PlaylistLength.net from 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. The effective date is August 29, 2026. The service provides static explanations and browser-only calculators for people aged 16 or older. It does not create user accounts, accept media uploads, or build a remote history of calculations.

The most important distinction is between information typed into a calculator and information deliberately sent to the operator. Track names, durations, gaps, speeds, and start times remain in ephemeral browser memory during the current interaction. The defined workflow performs the arithmetic on the device. Those values are not submitted to PlaylistLength.net, written to a database, attached to an account, or placed in an analytics event.

Calculator inputs and results

Each tool works from manual entries. A user may enter three durations, choose a transition rule, and receive a total. The calculation happens without a network request carrying those values. Resetting the tool removes its working rows and result. Closing or reloading the page ends the temporary state, and the service offers no recovery or persistent calculation history.

For example, entering 3:20, 4:05, and 2:35 creates a ten-minute source total. The browser can add that sequence locally. PlaylistLength.net does not need the track titles, the identity of the listener, or a link to an outside playlist to show the answer. The tool therefore asks for no login and offers no cloud save function.

This boundary also means the operator cannot recover an abandoned calculation. If a result matters, copy the plain-text summary before leaving. Do not treat the calculator as storage for a setlist, event plan, teaching schedule, or other record that must be retained.

Information you choose to send

Emailing support@playlistlength.net is different from using a calculator. An email travels through the sender’s and recipient’s mail systems and may include the address, headers, message text, and attachments the sender chooses to provide. Support messages can be reviewed to answer a question, correct content, address accessibility feedback, handle a privacy request, or assess a responsible security report.

Send only what is necessary. A reproducible calculator question normally needs the route, a small set of sample durations, the displayed result, and the expected result. It does not require private playlist links, passwords, payment details, government identifiers, health information, authentication codes, API keys, or media files. The site has no payment workflow, so payment credentials are never an appropriate support attachment.

PlaylistLength.net may retain a support communication as reasonably needed to respond, protect the service, document a request, or meet legal obligations. No fixed response or deletion interval is promised in this launch notice. A person may ask about a previous message by using the same address and providing enough context to locate it. Reasonable verification may be requested before acting on a request involving personal information.

Hosting and technical delivery

PlaylistLength.net is intended to be deployed on Vercel. Like ordinary web hosting infrastructure, a deployed service may process technical request information needed to deliver pages, maintain security, and diagnose failures. That can include an IP address, request time, requested path, browser or device headers, response status, and security signals. Such infrastructure records are different from calculator inputs: the application is not designed to place track durations or calculated results into request URLs, logs, or event payloads.

The current service uses no analytics vendor, advertising pixel, account profile, or remote calculation database. If the service later adds a materially different practice, the public notice and any required choice must be updated before that practice applies. Ordinary hosting requests remain distinct from calculator inputs and are described separately below.

PlaylistLength.net does not define a sale of calculator inputs because it does not receive them. The launch service does not sell or rent a user profile, and it does not provide calculator histories to advertisers. Information deliberately sent by email may be handled by service providers that deliver or host the communication, subject to their roles and applicable terms.

The operator may disclose information it actually holds when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. These circumstances do not expand the site’s ability to see values that never leave the browser.

Choices and limitations

You can use the calculators without an account and can avoid entering names because item labels are optional. You can reset a tool at any time, refrain from emailing support, or provide a minimal example rather than personal content. Browser controls may clear ordinary cache or site data, although no persistent calculator state is part of the launch workflow.

No internet system can promise absolute security. Local processing reduces the information transmitted by the application, but the device, browser, network, extensions, and email provider remain outside the site’s control. Use a trusted device and do not enter sensitive material that the calculation does not require.

Frequently asked questions

Can the operator see my item durations?

Not through the defined calculator workflow. Inputs and results remain in temporary browser memory and are not uploaded or saved remotely.

Does the site use analytics cookies?

No analytics vendor or analytics cookie is part of the launch production facts. The cookies page describes the related implementation boundary.

Can I request a copy of a calculation?

No. There is no account or remote calculation history for the operator to retrieve. Copy a result locally if you need a record.

How do I ask a privacy question?

Email support@playlistlength.net, describe the request concisely, and avoid including unrelated sensitive information.

Review before you calculate

Use the tools when this browser-only boundary matches your needs. If a timing plan contains confidential details, omit optional names and work only with the durations necessary for the arithmetic.
