If an organizer removes the break, only the break subtotal changes. If a sequence grows by three minutes, the source duration changes while the clock rule stays intact.

The finish is a mathematical projection. It is not a calendar booking, alarm, notification, or guarantee that playback will begin on time. The browser does not create an event or send the result elsewhere. Copy the assumption summary if another person needs the plan, and state the local date and clock convention alongside it.

Clock details that deserve attention

Date and time arithmetic has edge cases. A sequence can pass midnight, and a long program can span more than one day. The tool handles rollover by using the entered local date-time as the starting point and adding elapsed seconds. It does not convert between named time zones. If people in different zones are coordinating, agree on the location or offset outside the tool and enter the corresponding local start.

Daylight-saving transitions can create clock times that repeat or do not occur in some locations. A browser-only tool without a selected time-zone database should not pretend to resolve that ambiguity. For an event near a clock change, verify the official local transition and use a calendar or time-zone service designed for that purpose. The result remains useful for ordinary elapsed-time planning once the real start instant is settled.

Build a resilient schedule

Start with the most reliable duration available. If track or segment times are estimates, preserve a buffer rather than rounding the finish to false precision. Live announcements, audience response, equipment changes, skipped items, and late starts all move the actual endpoint. Common mistakes

Do not enter a duration that already contains an intermission and then add the same intermission as a break. Do not confuse a clock reading such as 1:30 with a duration of one hour and thirty minutes unless the field label says duration. In a 12-hour display, check the morning or evening indicator. If the finish seems one day too late, review the entered date and the hours portion before changing the formula.

The tool rejects missing starts, impossible minute or second values, negative durations, empty break rows, and a zero schedule. A validation message should identify the field that needs attention and preserve other valid entries for correction.
